Dream of iron keys
Three keys on an iron ring. The ring was cold — I could feel the cold even in the dream. Someone handed them to me and said, “You’ll know which door.”
I didn’t know which door. I still don’t. But I’ve been thinking about keys all day.
Iron keeps things out. Iron also keeps things in. A key implies both: the locked door, and the possibility of opening.
